This is my first subject post so please be gentle. I am fed up of waking up on a Sunday and reading reports about our stars wanting out. I know that there are issues with the management that need addressing i.e. Hodgson is definately not up to the job (in my opinion) but I sometimes wish these players would just leave so we can get on with it. I am aware that a lot of it is simply media speculation but if players are not 100% committed to the club I would rather them just leave. The way the scum have begged Rooney to stay has frankly made me sick - I would have told the little p**ck to f**k off if I was old whisky nose. Why should clubs like LFC and MUFC have to explain to players how much money they are going to spend and when? We pay your wages, either get your head down and work for your money or f**k off !

You can blame the bosman ruling for player power and blame European law for bosman, and you can blame sky premier league take over for the fact that there exist a55holes like johnson who don't give a to55 about winning, and for wayne rooney, daring to talk about team tactics the guy rooney is so stupid (albeit a good footballer) that he can't even chew gum and think at the same time, how the hell is it anything to do to him, especially as he has been utter sh1te for england for the last 20 matches, for man united i cant say i dont watch them much but someone like ronaldo when he was there coming out with that kind of nonsense i would almost expect. Footballers get on my nerves , when they are so lucky to be doing what they dreamed of doing yet act the brat, they wouldnt do it if they were on 400 pound a week, funny that

Well thats what happens when you inject 100,200,300k a week to their banks weekly, their ego just grows and they think they are in charge of something. On the rooney front tho, a friend of mine has told me that they made all this fuss about him leaving and not signing a new contract because they want to distract the media and let them forget about his private life story circulating around. But anyway, this is liverpools forums, who cares about united, good win against b'burn, lets hope a similar performance follows against bolton.

UEFA/FIFA should set a Wage limit.
Most of the best players are earning more by sponsors that salaray at the club.

Wage limit and deductions for crap performances.
That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

Wage limit. Performance bonus (goals, assists, MotM, clean sheet etc - this should probably be driven by the sponsors more than the manager [favouritism = bad]). +10% pay (for that week) for U21 on bench of 1st team, +15% if sub on, +25% if start. Half pay for sick note (mitigating circumstances may make this difficult tho). 2/3rds pay for games played in the reserve league, half pay if on bench, no pay if unfit for reserves (applies to senior squad members only). Docked a week's wages if sent off, and no pay while suspended (small chance of appeal [10%] against deductions for 2 yellows where the ref was a turd, but no excuses for getting sent off in a reserve game). Blatant error causes loss of points - treat entire senior squad, manager, ass.man + WAGS to 4+ course dinner & drinks.
Yes, there is a lot of management involved in this, and I'm sure it will cause some serious wage disputes (which is probably why such systems don't see much use), but there's nothing like telling a player to go play in the reserves for less money until he gets his head right, or legally being able to threaten to bar the facilities to him so he earns no pay for the remainder of his contract.
