Chris Evans strangely gave a snippet of info away on radio 2 this morning. He was trying to cheer up the Liverpool supporting guest(pause for thought Padre) with a bit of knowledge about the NESV backers. hesitantly he revealed that one guy who he knows well is a Billionare with very deep pockets and they plan to spend big at LFC. Apparently Mr Henry is the respected media front as well as investor. The guy was at the Everton game as well. just a bit of info that may bode well for the future.

2hrs 44mins into the 3hr show. sort of bizarre coming from Chris evans, however seems to know more than he let on.

As much as NESV said they wont spend silly money, it is exactly what is needed to revive this ailing club.

We need new players and possibly a new manager. It is that simple.

I would not read anything into the not spending big on transfers. Its sound commercial sense not to announce you have a deep pocket with money burning a hole.

NESV will go about their buisness the quiet way.

Well yeah even the new york times which is wikipedia rumoured to be worth around 2 billion dollars has got a chunk of lfc via nesv, no suprise there, but doesnt mean they are all lfc fans, stark contrast to cheech and chong that we had before however
