Should we have him back if the price is right?

No. Been there done that. He left cause he wasn't getting enough game time. He would have the same problem if he came back.

Even sitting on the bench most of the time would be preferable to his current position I'd have thought.
His place in the Werld cup squad is looking decidely dodgy now as i reckon Roland the money mad manc rat is going to regain his place unfortunately.
Bring him back I say. Luv the lad I do, and was gutted when he left.

I like old crouchie - if he was prepared to come back with no guarantee of playing every week then he's be a great asset.

he always came off the bench and scored goals for us. and with the 6+5 rule in champo league coming in sure i'd bring him back

I love Crouchy as well. Such a talented player. Would love to see him back, for the right price.

Not sure about this. He's a fantastic person and would for sure score goales for us, but we have to get some real quality signings too like Silva or Young for example...

Slight step backwards IMO. He left to get more first team football beofre the world cup... if Torres stays fit all year, how many games will crouch play?

Will he be unhappy again? Granted, he left in a dignified and sophisticated way, he didn't publicly sulk etc etc, but what's changed?

depends on what the price would be and if he was prepared to sit on the bench most of the time and come on as a sub!!! Worth another shot based on the above. I liked him and thought he did reasonably well given his limited opportunity towards the end!

I doubt he would come back. I spoke to him last year at a party as his bird is a mate of my neighbour. He wants first team football, but whether he's prepared to sacrifice that for the chance of silverware I can't say. His bird still lives on merseyside & there was talk of wedding bells. So that might bring him back one day, but that might not happen this summer.
