With RAFA this season we will be title contenders...I will welcome RAFA with open arms any minute - but - as I said before - I will support Roy till New Year - half a season (even without money to spend) is enough time to do something - If he will not improove Rafa's reasults - he should be replaced - If he will - he can stay for the rest of the season with a chance to buy players in January. That's my opinion - and RAFA legacy are: Torres, Reina, Kuyt, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Lucas, Maxi, Babel, Ngog, Aurelio, Jovanovic - not bad players to do something interesting with them...
I commend you for your desire to stick to/stubborness to change from your principle of give them till christmas. But sit down and think about it, potentially (and probably based on what has happened so far), keeping him till christmas, just puts us further behind with less games to go. Sometimes you just have to have the balls to say, lets make changes and make them now. Worked at spurs didnt it. Even more important than this, i will consider it a failure on the behalf of the board to trust money to this failure of a manager. I did not ever want him appointed but i bit my tongue mostly to give him support, but there is literally not one thing you can say about hodgson that he has done right since becoming liverpool manager. If you give that kept torres and gerrard [oops] then think hard, no1 wanted to pay what gerrard would cost, and torres stayed cause purslow told him club would be sold and we would have money. Nothing to do with Hodgson. He has not got tactics or lineup right even once during his tenure with liverpool. Waiting allows our club to plumit more, think hard before you so freely give away, those months, games, and potential points to a manager who clearly has not got a clue when it comes to this club.
