I must admit I feel sorry for Nando.

He is getting no service. The odd time he does get the ball he is surrounded by nothing but opposition players. There are never an Liverpool players anywhere near him..

He never gets the ball. The only chance of a good ball is probably from a Reina kick out.

I think the critism of Nando has been blown out of proportion. I dont know what people expect from a guy that never has the ball.

If he was at any other team in the league he would be doing far better.

Liverpool would be a forward players nightmare at the moment.

Nando sort of becoming part of the problem really. He needs better players to supply better service, yet to attract better players we need to be nearer the top of the league. if as expected we enter the transfer market in January looking to buy quality. Who (of quality)will join a struggling mid/bottom table club?
Nando and others neetd to get motivated and within striking distance of top 4 as this will make the 'big sales' easier. Although I would not trust Hodsgon with a book of green shield stamps at the moment.

Torres form is 100% down to the incompetent Hodgson! The lad has gone from a 20+ goal a season to a lad that looks lost on the field, the only obvious change is the muppet we have in charge. Our team is set up not to allow him any success. nobody is close to him and we've decided to take the most lethal partnership in the premiership in Gerrard and Torres and move it 30 yards further apart. Makes no sense. We no longer press teams and drop of so when we do win it deep in our half, it allows teams time to get numbers back and stops any chance to get Torres involved close to the goal. Torres looked threatening late in the game and could easily have scored but only when we decided to go out and attack! We got players forward and gerrard was now on the ball closer to pick out Torres. He looked much more threatening. The problem isn't Torres, class is permanent and he has tonnes of it. Torres and our form is down to 1 thing and it's HODGSON!!! I'd be miserable playing for this buffon.

Agreed lucas, the people who say torres is suddenly no good because of his body language are missing the point, he will not chase useless passes towards the corner flag unless there is at least a 50 percent chance the balls are accurate. He is not dirk kuyt running himself into the ground for a pat on the back if he were this type of player he would not be there when the good chances arrive, its a little rich to expect him to play like that, he had runs of bad form under benitez but still managed to tuck goals in cos he had at least 2 chances per match, under General Denial he has zero to half a chance per game, crap tactics crap movement = crap scoring return do the maths

I find it almost laughable that torres who is our best player without question, is being blamed for the mess we are in. A striker is only as good as his service!

What we need is pace down the flanks. Johnson should be pushed up to RW Like he was doing at Portsmouth before rafa got his meddling claws into him. Have babbel playing LW bucket loads of pace and a fierce right peg. Joe cole behind torres as he is ineffective on the wings and push gerrard back to the middle of the park where he can grab the game by the scruff of the neck, like he has so many times for us in the past!

Crap service and no support makes Torres a sad boy,simple as.

True the service he has been getting has been shocking but he along with a number of other players just dont appear to be working as hard as they could. I dont know if its a confidence thing or what but his just not working as hard as he used to.

IMO he shouldn't be dropping deep he's a lone striker, his job is to attack the space and wait for that killer ball which doesn't look like it's going to come anytime soon.....

Hes lost ALL speed and power which made him the threat he was 2 seasons ago , sorry lads but the boy is goooone
