In my opinion i really cant see him getting back to his best anytime soon, Everyone keeps saying " well hes getting no service etc etc load of crap , hes out there and he cant be assed. He shows no class on the ball , cant hold the thing for any more then 3-4 secs and i have noticed MOST centrebacks now are showing more pace then him ( jagielka , distin , dann ) all just too quick for him and they aint exactly the quickest cbs getting around. Just wondering how everyone else feels about maybe selling him in january for 40-50m. Coz honestly id rather ngog out there at the moment and i just dont see Torres returning to what we know he can do anytime soon.

Compare his movement, his energy, and his goal threat to someone like Tevez - no comparison, and no excuses. Torres right now isn't doing it, and Roy (while he still has a job) should sit down and find out why. I actually think it's like Rooney, all in his head.

He's not motivated, got himself injured again etc. Where did I read that someone compared him to Rush under Souness as "a groin strain waiting to happen"? I honestly don't think that Roy is capable of fixing Torres, and one, if not both, won't see out the season as the result.

He needs to play games in the Europa and leave the Prem to Ngog for a few weeks. He might get some goals and a bit off his old spark back.

I think were as with Gerrard he's pretty much carried Liverpool most of the time, with Torres it was expected from him aswell, and i think he got fed up of it. Obviously the fact he's off form is also a major factor.
Class is permanent tho, he won't have just lost his ability.
Lack of confidence, lack of belief in his team mates and manager.
If he went for 40M in Jan i wouldn't be too saddened, i think we will struggle getting 50 for him in his current state. Id rather him stay and be part of the solution tho if its possible.

you also have to have a look at the service.... shitty long balls and terrible passing.. he is barely getting a look at the ball

It shows how far he has dropped that I and many others would have Ngogg as our lead striker for the next few games.!
No chance of 50 million in this form, in fact lucky to get 20.

Can't believe he's getting slated. He scored 18 in 22 last year in the prem, we where creating chances for him, this season the service into him is non existent, he's constantly playing with his back to goal he's not got gerrard supporting him as he's dropping back deep. It's completely shocking, manager needs to be sacked.

Agree. This season he's got no decent crosses and Gerrard had to drop further and further back to get the ball moving forward and to influence the play.
If we get wingers who can cross the fcuking ball better, he will score them.
