Everton are a much better team than their position in the table suggests. It was always going to be a big ask to come here, in a Derby match, and expect to get anything from the game. We were missing key players like Poulsen today, and unfortunately it's shown.
We're in a relegation battle, and I don't plan on doing anything to change that. We need to lower the expectations of our fans because winning games in football is not always necessary. Nor is drawing them.
I've spoken to Dirk Kuyt - whose out injured at the moment - and he's told me that we will bounce back and turn a corner in the next game. That's good enough for me.
