I could handle this more and defend Roy more if was actually speaking sense but some of his comments are bizarre!

Roy: 'The result was very, very bad but I am refusing to accept it was a bad team performance.' #lfc

Roy: 'I didn't see a lack of confidence. The second half was good as I have seen Liverpool play under my management.' #lfc

Roy: '30 games to go, 90 points to play for. I wouldn't rule out top four.'

Roy: 'Sterling effort from the players to produce that second half performance.'

Roy: 'As good as I have seen us play this season...Excellent game of football.'

Roy: 'Difficult game to win. The team played well. We suffered at the hands of an early onslaught. We dominated the second half totally.'

Roy: "I refuse to sit here & accept that we were outplayed or in any way inferior."

Absolute bollox. I've just watched the interview link, and came close to throwing up with the shock of what he was actually spouting. Unbelieveable. eek

Look Roy, just stand there and tell us what WE all saw and heard.
WE WERE ABSOLUTELY DIRE AND DESERVED TO LOSE.
I think we'd all appareciate THAT sort of talk rather than these mealy mouthed constant excuses.

Meanwhile, I hope you keep the whole squad back to watch a video of that 'performance' and have them all in at the crack of dawn doing 1000 press ups in the buff whilst reciting "WE APOLOGIZE TO THE FANS AND PROMISE WE WE WILL PULL OUR TRIPE OUT FOR YOU ALL FROM NOW ON.

- It a fact we've improved
- Poulsen and Lucas are out of Roy's favour now
- Skrtel is quick, but Agger is still better
- Maxi isn't crap like Lucas but also does nothing
- Cole always goes inside, he should be behind striker
- Johnson only looks terrible when he is heavily pressured but otherwise he is very useful and i think we have missed him today
- Meireles is good, just needs another quality DM/CM(Parker) by his side
- Cheers for the captain, also for Babel mini show

i think Torres has to go aswell as roy.he used to be a good player but now looks like a burned out has been.i would take the biggest offer for him and let him go.his performances this season have been on a par with the managers.

You're right.Heard roy's post match interview, what a load of poo."Their 2nd goal was a wonder goal"huh,no it wasn't,it was poor defending of a corner.Fancy leaving un-marked player's on the edge of the box.I'm not surprised when we start with maxi & lucas. We're just awful all over the pitch. We don't look like scoring at all.As for making the first change after 70 mins, what a joke. His days are definitely numbered.Don't agree with the O'Neil bandwagon though, his teams play with spirit, but that's all,we need more than that.

WOW... nearly 1/3rd of the way through the season ands that awful second half was as good as he has seen us play..Well isnt that fantastic.

Deluded, out of his depth and has a defeatist mentality...

He makes it seem like Liverpool are doing well to be even able to compete against the likes of Everton, Blackpool and Hudersfield.
