Yep, the world according to Roy:

"I don't feel it to be a crisis because the way we have played today I don't think anyone would believe that is the type of football of a team in the bottom three. I think we can consider ourselves unlucky."

There's just no point in sticking with him.

1. He doesn't excude confidence
2. He doesn't seem to have any force of personality or kind of aura around - which is refreshing in a way but is n ot what we need
3. despite his claim of 35 years experience only the like of gross and the other guy spurs sacked there before redknapp looked like tey had completely no plan whatsoever.

We need someone who can motivtae the players abd get bthem going - he loses a derby and even pretend to be pi ss ed off - hejust smiles - thanks roy, but no thanks

I have to agree. I'd like nothing more to see Roy do well and propel us up the league and win the Europa, but I just can't see it at the minute. There is no confidence and that has to come via the manager. Whether we like it or not WE ARE in the relegation fight and there is only so long you can allow it to go on. We have no divine right to stay in the Premier league make no mistake without something changing we could have trouble getting out of it and whatever assurances Mr Henry has given to RH if we lose the next 2 or 3 can you really see them not making a change?? I'm sorry but I can see them firing Roy and they shouldn't hold back if it needs to happen.

On todays performance, there were hardly any pluses. We lost nearly every 50 50 ball going now that is a sign of a team in severe trouble (it's a mersey derby that has never been a problem before) The only thing I can point to is there are a lot of players in that squad who don't want to be there or who want to be there but don't want to put in the effort. The manager must identify those players speak to them threaten them or make them see what they are doing wrong. Now we don't know if hodgson has tried this or not. Either way when the majority of players have this attitude it is for the manager to take ultimate responsibity. In fact, it's too late. Noone wants to play for Roy. There may be players who are uncertain for their futures there is obvously fear of a mass clear out. The players that many people have already identified as being of poor quality may well have realised this and think that their time is up, and therefor don't go in for a challenge. Miereles was for me our best player and one of the few non British players who put in an effort. Everyone else could have done better. Cole did his best (out of position as usual). PErsonally for me, bringing on a striker after 70 minutes is a scandal. But my point is that
there is something wrong tactically and mentally within the spirt of the team and I think the mental aspect perhaps the most important is the fault of hodgson, who has immediately tried to lower expectations, not in an altruistic sense to protect his players but in a selfish sense as I believe that he cannot handle a squad of stars and I think they don't respect him as manager

Excellent logic and reason I suspect.
I just wish I could think straight enough to actually agree with you, but I'm too bloody agitated at the moment.

I have watched LFC since I was asked to choose between the 'blues' or the 'reds' when I was 3 years old in 1981. In my lifetime the Souness years were pretty horrendous to watch but in recent times this has been horrendous. I CANNOT and WILL NOT except such dreary performances as those shown under Roy Hodgson and IMPORTANTLY his backroom staff. I remember when Rafa's backroom staff changed. It was the difference between the epic no-holds-bar all out attack of the season we finished 2nd in the Premiership to the lacklustre outfit of last season.

Man U are having one of their worst starts for many seasons and we are still nine points adrift.

The ownership issue is resolved but could never be an excuse!

Maybe our legendary Carra is too old now. Maybe we have no left back. I've never seen us defend so badly. Maybe we are still hung over from Xabi leaving. Maybe this maybe that.

there's no more maybes about the need for change!!! We are worse than every club in the Premier league at the moment bar West Ham.
