Between NESV and Lim, i would rather NESV. One has a experience running and turning around a sleeping giant into successful sports entity. the other has a history of running sports bars which in my humble view has seen its best days.

As a group, NESV has more financial clout.

This desperate move by the two clowns is laughable at best. They wont succeed in blocking the sale.

1. They got a restraining order from a Texas District Court, not a Federal District Court. Texas Civil courts only have jurisdiction in the state of Texas, which in itself is limited.

2. A business can be sold for any value, over or under. Under a democracy, this is perfectly legal.

3. The Texas court is putting a restraining order when the club would be under administration for not paying back the loans; thus, officially owned by the banks itself.

4. Liverpool is in England, Great Britain, which is not a district of the United States, thus any local court does not have jurisdiction over it.

5. The majority of the loans are owed to Royal Bank of Scotland, or RBS, which is controlled by Her Majesty's Treasury; which in itself is a part of the British government. Which, again, is not part of the United States.

6. Other loans are owed to Wells Fargo, which is a California company. Again, a Texas District Court has no power over it.

I just don't understand what they will get out of this. They won't get what they want for the club and if the higher bids weren't good for the club (eg leaveraged buyouts) then I think the NESV bid has to be better. After all, I thought the sale was supposed to be in the clubs best interests not those two [oops]!

I just don't see what they are getting out of this? If NESV buy they get [oops] all if RBS take over and sell they get [oops] all.

As for the judge and his family, they look like they probably attend Hicks' swinging parties. Who the [oops] is a texan judge to say what happens in our coubtry? [oops] him and his cowboy boot wearing horse that he rode in on!

This is painful now, I work in Bunhill Row and it's so frustrating knowing that our glorious club is being possibly diicked over no more than 300 yards away!
