I can't see how 320 million pounds + no debt vs 300 million pounds plus no debt is any reason to choose the larger bid over the smaller. Less than 10% capital value means you look at other aspects of the competing bids to see if one has greater total value for the club. Frankly anyone choosing a Manc supporter as Liverpool owner needs his head read; that guy is only in it for the money, not the club. So unless Lim came up with 400+ million his bid cannot be better than NESV's; an extra 20 million is a token gesture. Had he been really serious about buying the club his initial bid would have been far higher. One does wonder whether Man U even allowed this guy to use their name etc as a theme for a franchise - can you do that without approval?

Following on from our earlier release regarding the Court Hearing tomorrow (Tuesday 12th October) we have been informed that the hearing will be opened and then adjourned in a matter of minutes. Therefore Spirit Of Shankly will not be travelling from Liverpool to the Courts in London tomorrow, but will be planning to attend the subsequent hearing. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and we will update members as soon as possible regarding any future date. Those who expressed an interest for tomorrow will be given first priority for any subsequent travel arrangements.
Those who still wish to be in attendance tomorrow, we ask you to again consider the feelings of those who will be attending the 7/7 Inquests also taking place tomorrow.

Ye I agree. Redthunder and alot of peole seen to think they're just about protests and remember the American flag and Munich episode. But they've moved on from that and it only takes a few dickheads to [oops] things up for everyone as we no with these two american tw@ts. I joined them partly because of the awareness they where giving to people about these scum bit mostly because of the things they offer, coaches to away games and good prices, fan ownership etc Now am not from Ireland but they've even managed to got discount for any supporters coming over on the ferry.
So ye I agree I do think people need to open there eyes and look past the incident where a few dickheads let SOS down and look at the things they can offer for you. Last time I was on there site, they've got SOS opening up in America, Norway an many more countries. So people mustn't think there that. f uckin bad

And if your [oops] off with your flag being burnt, then ye it's out of order. But it's not the first time your flag has been set on fire and it certainly won't be the last

It emerged last night that John W Henry will demand tens of millions of pounds if the deal is not rubber-stamped by the Liverpool board. NESV insisted that it would defend its deal with the club and could sue for “tens of millions in damages” should it collapse through administration, the board deciding to sell to another bidder, or Hicks and Gillette being granted an injunction to prevent the sale.
“These could result in very substantial damages running into tens of millions of pounds,” said David Chivers QC, acting for NESV.
Hardly the sort of utterances we need to hear from our possible new owners, looking to sue the club before they even get to own it. It casts John Henry’s takeover in a bad light before they even begin to run our club. Let us hope that they are not another hard-balled owner of Liverpool FC who are out to make a fast buck on our club. --------------------------------------------------------
Hopefully they are just twisting the words of NESVs QC to show them in a bad light. BUT at this stage I dont trust any prospective owner.,..

But it's not the first time your flag has been set on fire and it certainly won't be the last For the record, I also follow baseball here in the US and I've known Hicks was a parasite for LFC from the start and was opposed to them buying. I do not need some racist twits telling me how to think or how to support my club. Furthermore, their sole reason for being is to have the club in the hands of fans not private owners and I personally think that is a recipe for disaster - Just my opinion. Yes, I know there are good and bad in every bunch but as an organization they choose to burn our flag and that cuts it with me. Far too many have died, good friends who gave everything for that flag and our country so again, SOS does not represent me and they can [oops] off. How about a very humble and public apology for that flag burning event, not going to happen. And how would you feel if it was a British flag they were burning if they had set their sights on the British board members? Others may come along and set fire to our flags for what ever reason and they will retain a very special palce in hell for it.

So what if this guy does have ties to Manchester United, how is that important. The one thing you should have just realised in all this is that it has absolutely nothing to do with football anymore, it's all about the money and the franchise. How does him having any ties with United effect him making money for himself out of Liverpool football club which afterall is what it's all about, it's business and football should now be treated like such, Liverpool's chairman is a Chelsea man through and through yet did that stop him doing his job for Liverpool Football Club, No because there is no sentiments in football or Business.
