I'm a singaporean and Peter Lim is one of the richest man in the country. But honestly, I don't want him to take over because he's a pure businessman. I don't know why on earth he wants to buy over LFC. He's good with commodities, businesses etc. But LFC? The mind boggles.

Just for the record, I don't think he's acting for Hicks because he's one of the most respected businessman here. Don't think he'll want to tarnish his reputation.

I think that Lim would make LFC more richer and probably understands football more than NESV. they are both the same...because this is a good commercial buy. 300million for one of the most famous clubs in the world? Look at Carson Yeung (owner of Birmingham). He's probably not as rich as P.Lim but he's a business man and found a good buy there too. So I believe we do need a good businessman but also one that understands football too.

Wanting to make a bid and making a bid are different things. The fact that we didn't know about this guy until now tells me the papers or Hicks are making this up.

the two bids that were submitted to Martin Broughton were both for £300m.

This sint strenthening Hicks's bid because it was the same value as thhee NESV bid.

Broughton chose NESV out of the two because they were the better choice.

In Broughton we trust boys COME ON !!!! he hasnt done anything wrong yet. and reading recent reports the guys is definately on our side.

And we especially dont want a fkin MANC supporting peice of sh!t not in my football club anyway.

It's reported here in the Far East that Hicks has approved the sale to Lin for 476m pounds. No idea how true any of this is, but it seems clear that Hicks is still working hard at screwing everyone over - like we didn't expect that. Point is, that as long as the board make-up is inviolate, Lin's bid cannot be approved.

Again, saying you will make a bid and actually making it are different things, so I would beware what is mentioned in the press, as it is certainly of less substance than reality. If he wanted to buy the club he would have upped his bid earlier than today, but you can bet Hicks will say there was more interest in the club than Broughton let on.

"The case has been moved to the larger Court 18 on The Strand to accommodate the huge media interest.
A spokeswoman for the judiciary section of the Royal Courts of Justice said a decision would not be given today.
According to normal practice, a judge can take a few days to reach a ruling which is then "handed down" in court."

Following on from our earlier release regarding the Court Hearing tomorrow (Tuesday 12th October) we have been informed that the hearing will be opened and then adjourned in a matter of minutes. Therefore Spirit Of Shankly will not be travelling from Liverpool to the Courts in London tomorrow, but will be planning to attend the subsequent hearing. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and we will update members as soon as possible regarding any future date. Those who expressed an interest for tomorrow will be given first priority for any subsequent travel arrangements.

Those who still wish to be in attendance tomorrow, we ask you to again consider the feelings of those who will be attending the 7/7 Inquests also taking place tomorrow.

'Lim owns a series of Manchester United F.C. themed bars and clubs in Asia'

That's reason alone for me not wanting him in control of our club.
