We'll live off profit. Just think, we won't have £30m interest payments so that could all go into the transfer kitty. Top that up with some other funds and we may not be too bad. If we could do an Arsenal with the new stadium we'll be even better off.

Broughton says a judgement can be made by next Friday, so the sale process could continue. Not sure if H&G can force it to drag on, but we must keep in mind as well that the RBS debt date is coming up fast and they may just tell H&G to f*ck off..
by the way does anyone know where this legal challenge will be held...in Liverpool or London? what about a show of support from LFC supporters outside the high court!!

Would be good to have some people outside the court.
And if RBS have any balls, they will not let this or the other offer slip through their hands.

He has 17 wealthy backers behind him. I don't want a rich sugar daddy to come in, I want us to run properly and earn our success. Of course investment in the team is necessary, but not at the risk of players just playing for the cheque, they need to understand what we are and winning is the all important! just one point, now that we will be owned by consortium consisting of 17 members. who makes the decisions? am guessing they will vote on a issue but what happens if a few of them have strong objections and they decide they want out or there is massive infighting, what happens then? we had two owners and they couldnt agree on sh!t so whats the chances of 17 pple playing happy families?

Loser's attitude by pinky & perky. They have lost the battle after using all their disgraceful tactics. They are begging for the last time. There is no case. But the 2 thieves are taking their last chance. For me, viewing all the negative media attentions involved, any judge will never any pity for those 2 dollar devils.

The difference is that H & G were 2 (which is an even number) when they had problems with their decision making. The new board will probably consist of an odd number of members (just as we have now with H & G, Broughton, Ayre and Purslow). Most decisions will only need 'simple majority' - in other words the decision goes through even if the difference is just 1 single vote.

During the interview with Broughton,he made it clear that he was very confident the sale could go through but he also mentioned there is a chance that those beastards could win. It all depends on this court according to Broughton so lets have our fingered crossed and hope the board can win this courtcase and get the sale through. He also mentioned that if they do happen to win, which is unlikely, they have alternative options. See, the bank likes the new owners, they have met and agreed to terms. My guess is that if H&G win in court, the bank is going to immediately call in the debt on the 15th and own the club for about a day until they sell it at the agreed price to NESV.
