He can't refinance (at RBS)! He has to payoff the debt & if he does, it will make him the sole owner (Gillett is finished). If that happened. We'd be well & truly roggered & at his mercy.

It wont happen,broughton is holding all the aces

Hicks signed an RBS agreement that installed broughton as the non executive chairman,and he and only he was authorised to "sack" existing board members if he saw fit until the sale process was over.

Hick's problem is that he got a massive erection when he saw the type of (money laiden) potential bidders coming in to enquire about a takeover at LFC.

He saw that & thought, I can make a killing from these muppets, which will help me fund my penis enlargement programme.

What he doesn't realise & refuses to realise, is that none of these potentials are willing or will ever be willing to pay the valuation he's set for LFC.
