Why would the players care about the owners. The only person that should be worried about the owners is the manager cause he's directly effected by them. The players recieve their cheque and leave with a smile on their face. I don't think this will change the results of ANY game as much as i wish it would.

If I could send you this through PM, then I would. As it's something directed just at you.

I feel your pain Murph, regarding Rafa. And you, more than anyone I've ever known on here, has a right of reply to all the Rafa bashers who played their part in getting rid of him.

I witnessed the torrent of digusting, bordering on savage, comments made about Rafa during the summer. And I also witnessed how you stood up for your beliefs & fought back against every single comment. I started off by doing the same. But I quickly realised that it was like waving a red flag to a bunch of blood thirsty bulls. I wasn't up to the fight. My head & heart was already hurting & heavy with the fight of trying to get H&G out of our club. For my own healthy & sanity, I had to take a step back & out of the forum. But you continued and for that, I will always admire you, while at the same time will always be ashamed of myself for not backing you up.

Whether it's dwelling in the past or looking to the future. Have your say mate. You are entitled to it.

As for me, I'll just bide my time, in the knowledge & belief that Rafa, left unhindered by financial restrictions (you know like how Mourinho has been, pretty much all of his career), will create the next Valencia (in my opinion, the best team I have ever seen us come up against in my time supporting Liverpool). That is when I'll have my say. wink

*Apologies for spelling, grammatical errors, etc. Have had to type this in a rush.

Paul Dalglish has told talkSPORT his dad still has plenty to offer Liverpool and would be prepared to help the club in any way possible - including a return to the managerial hot-seat.

The former Anfield legend is currently an Academy Ambassador at the Merseyside club but has been linked with a return to the top job unless fortunes improve rapidly under Roy Hodgson.

Liverpool have made their worst start to a season for 57 years and are in turmoil on and off the field. And Dalglish junior would back his famous father to turn things around.

He told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast: "My dad’s said publicly he wanted the job before Roy Hodgson got it. But he was politely told he wasn’t the right person for the job and was perhaps out of touch.

"But Einstein never stopped being a genius, did he? Once you’re a genius you’re always a genius. And my dad’s got the greatest football brain I’ve ever known and the managerial record to back it up.

"He will help Liverpool in whatever way he can. He loves Roy Hodgson to bits and certainly doesn’t want the job while Roy’s there, but my dad’s got too much to offer not to be involved in the game in some way."

These are troubled times for Liverpool fans with further uncertainty over the future of the club, and Dalglish insists no-one is more concerned than his father.

He added: "The problem my dad’s got is people think he has a lot more power than he’s actually got [at Liverpool]. My dad’s only an academy coach but because of what he’s done at the club before people think he’s involved in the running of the club and all these decisions.

"But what's happening is a worry to him. He loves Liverpool more than anyone I know. Once Liverpool’s in your heart it’s very hard to stop caring and he just wants to see a nice future for Liverpool and a solution to the problems we’ve got at the moment."
