If all goes through and considering our last American owners dont rule out a signal of intent by the new ones with the re appointment of Rafa.
Anybody see his bit in the press on the weekend of one day coming back to Anfield as our gaffa?

I love you Murph!! You never give up. As much as I would love for this to happen, I don't believe it will. Not this soon anyway. But we Rafa-nestas can still dream....

Thanks Acari!
I was in the middle of of an epic Rafa Benitez response when I thought for no apparent reason my step fathers ( I'm home for a few days without my own laptop) laptop shut down?
First of all I thought boll0cks but after I got over my hissy fit I realised that we cant dwell on the past its the future we have a chance of shaping.

Can't see it happening..I am sure a professional like Rafa will be fully Focused on Inter for the next 2 years at least. I'm pretty sure with his team he will qualify for Champions League and therefore merit his stay in Italy.

I don't expect any new Manager until off-season - the only other possibility is if Kenny stepped in as an interim role but can't see Roy relinquishing his position as it would admit defeat and he still believes that he can achieve some status by pulling us out of current shambolic position and get a good run in the Cups.
But I do hope for better management than we have at the moment but most of all some decent players and don't forget Rafa made some clangers of his own plus his stubborness probably didn't help the cause at times.
Can't wait to see the end of Tom and Jerry show asap - FKUC OFF FOR GOOD!

Agreed Paul. I think Hodgson will remain until January atleast to see if he can pull us out of this slump. I don't want liverpool to just sack him just like that, I think its unfair, give him more time. I know you guys would think that he hasnt done anything special but lets give him more time and see how it goes. Maybe this new owner can give the players some motivaation to play better?

I think it just depends on how these new owners see Hodgson. If all they have looked at is this seasons results and the squad he has then he'd be straight out if it was me. On the other hand, they may be fully aware of his previous jobs and give him a chance. I get the feeling he'll be here for a while and hopefully with all the ownership bull out of the way we will start to play again.

hopefully with all the ownership bull out of the way we will start to play again. come on mate u cant say all of the bad results and poor performance is solely down to the mess up stairs in the board room. that is just bull its doesnt matter what is going on at the club the players should beat northampton and blackpool. i think hodson needs to go and we need to get kenny in to fill the void. at the end of the season see how things are going and then keep kenny full time or bring a new man in.
