Good news that it looks like Hicks and Gillett finially getting the boot. Hearing from a US friend that tak over there is these guys plan to rename Anfied "Liverpool Red Sox" Park....they have Fenway Park already in states...tryin to makin it more appealing to the American market...probably rubbish talk but it has to stay Anfield surely?
I don't think the name of the naming of the stadium is that important. Newcastles stadium is sportsdirect.com@St James Park but who refers to it as anything but St James Park. If they want to make £20m by calling it whatever they want they can but everyone is still going to call it Anfield

I do agree that Anfield needs to remain as some part of the name but if we're to be a leading side in the future we need to follow suit and start selling naming rights like Arsenal have done with the emirate otherwis we'll be caught yet again in another timewarp like we did in the 80's when we we're the biggest team in the world.
