just seen on ssn a press release from the current board that the sale is done with the condition of ratification by the premier league.the sale is being contested by dumb and dumber but it looks like we're in new hands.
it is being sold to the owner of the boston red socks.they are saying that all the debt will be paid in full and we can expect investment in the team.didnt hear anything about he new ground.
heres hoping that they are the answers to our prayers.

There is a comment on the BBC as well...I hope the board has done its job.

On the lfc site it says it has been accepted by the board. This means that if I'm not mistaken, that the Prem League has to agree with the sale.

it also says about the new owners:

My English isn't bad, but does this mean that they will erase all of our debts, or only debts from takeover? Seeing they are saying to put the focus on investment in the team.

The company itslef looks good. What they say is correct, they care about results. And they will do whatever to get there. The Red Sox have won the world championships twice last 5 years, and they have spent about 58 mil dollar on one player. Let's hope they do the same for us.

Sounds good they are stable organisation (always wary of dodgy mega rich individuals).

They will know what needs to be invested including ground I would think otherwise why bother?

i disagree, 58 mil dollars on one player means nothing h & g spent 52 mil dollars on torres - do we get them back on bored. this guy doesnt have wealth.

This is a good bit of business, they are wiping the debt out, the two idits get basically nothing, they will let the club run at a profit which will be invested into the squad.
Regarding the stadium they will do an Arsenal (naming rights, investment from parent companies and so forth).

Yes they will be american owners, owning us again, but these people will run the business right and we will become the force of football again.

I am happy we got these guys as I didn't fancy in all honesty being sugared daddied, city owners will walk away one day and they will finish in league 2 due to the fact tey won't have a pot to [oops] in.
