actually maxi looked like he came on to at least kick some players. nice to see a bit of fight for a change from one of our players.

Id have kept aqua personally, not that i think we would be top of the league if we had kept him. I just think he has quality and were short of that.

it just shows how short memory fans have. Last year when Aqua was struggeling, everyone was slagging Rafa and Aquaman.

Rafa bought a dud, what a waste. i hope this is a great lesson to many fans.

You cant compare the quality of aquaman to the Pulsons and Mireiles. Aquman is better than all of them.

Alonso took some time to become the player he's today, Aquilani would've been the same if given enough runs as a regular, no doubt we'll always need at least two essential players in central midfield, now we have Cole i think Gerrard should step back to make a room for N'gog, Babel or Pacheco even if they are awful, its always better to lack upfront than to lack in midfield, no one is his right mind would ever compare the Alonso-Masch blender to the Meireles-Poulsen

I understood that was why we signed them. I must have been mistaken.

Putting Poulsen on the pitch is worse than playing with 10 men and no DM, because he takes up space and interferes with our own play. We sit too deep, so Torres isn't really in the game either, so we're starting with 9 men. Not so hard to see why we play such rubbish in the first half, why the players are demoralized, and why we aren't winning, is it?

I suspect the slower pace suits him, although i'm sure he would have adapted here. Shame he was crocked last year. We're being run and managed by the unspeakable at the moment. But the players have the most to answer - they've had some of the glory, near misses in the CL and PL and the same supporters cheering them on week in week out, but this is the pits. I'd like to think that the whole situation has got to tehm and maybe it's a blessing in disguise that will hasten the sal, but i don't know.

Not completely Poulsen's fault though, when he receives the ball he finds too much on the same line or backwards also those who are forward are double marked, however we don't press and we still get massive holes, too many one-on-one situations like the penalty ball, its IRONIC Roy

well what i saw of that game he was ordinary to say the least and for liverpool he was not good enough 20 million pound italian flop same as dossena , he was replaced by a player who was good for liverpool momo sissoko .
