no he wouldn't have he just like cole maxi jovanovic he isnt a winger therefore he wouldnt have brought anything to our squad he is a quality player but not what we need at all dude if you read my post, he would slot behind torres, and joe would be winger, that would make a lot of difference... with gerrad and mereiles in the centre, that would provide a lot of creativity in the middle... he would have brought a lot to our team sorry but i dont see it he is a good player but he isnt what we need and that midfield is far too attacking it would have more holes than a teabag

did poulsen cost 8m - holy god - there is a malaise at our clkub that goes back a long long way we have been paying over the odds for muck for at least 12 years now - we must be the laughing stock of europe - did vdv want to come here?

Cole cannot be a winger anymore, and VDV is too slow to play centre mid. If hodgson had any talent, both players would be in the same position, but I guess with hodgson VDV would e right back with cole on the wing.

Sell Lucas, Maxi and Babel and get Arda and another right winger. Play Joe Cole behind Torres. Gerrard and Meireles in the engine room. Carragher push to the right as he is too slow to react when play in the center and Agger and Skrtel in the middle. Problem solve!

First of all, VDV turned us down because we were in the europa league and spurs are in the champions league. Secondly i Think if he had come to us then he would not make as much as an impact as he has done for spurs purely because our squad is very average and that wouldnt help him alot. Spurs have a much more quality squad with 4 yes 4 strikers. We have who is crying all the time. Also, If he had come to us, he would just be a flop because lets face it lads, we are cursed.

I think he would have been good, but our problem now is really with the manager and the owners and prmarily the latter. I think Hodgson was brought in as a puppet to steady the ship until the clubs sold - he's essentially doing it for the money - he knows that when new owners arrive his days are numbered. He talks the talk, but he's so fat from being a top manager it's unreal. Kenny would have caused truble and Rafa just woulnd'nt take it lying down. Now we have their man - waffles on ad naseum, bullshits about everything, tries to pass himself off as mr rational but look at the football we're playing. i honestly cannot rememeber, even in Sounesses worst moments, liverpool playing so bad. Bring on the new owners please.
