Well I am firmly in the neither would play in a perfect world group but I would take Lucas. Just because I`m a sad B*****d i actually counted the amount of backward passes by Lucas in the first half yesterday just to see if he was as bad as others state, surprisingly only 3 back passes. OK one of them was awful and he then commited a foul but the others were fine. Got so depressed with the performance didn`t bother after half time.

I may be the only person who thinks this i would like to see lucas going forward on the one or two occasions when he hasn't been terrible was when he was allowed to attack from CM i don't either of them should be our first team to be honest but i don't think lucas has had a fair crack in an attacking role

wasnt Lucas a box to box type player when Rafa signed him?

Neither are good enough to wear the shirt. Think Lucas had the talent when we signed him, but Rafa constantly asking him to play a role he was incapable of playing has ingrained him into that role and he has lost confidence in going forward. He shows flashes every now and then, but he is a liability in our own half. Poulson I cant think of anything positive to stay.

Bring on Shelvey, he has more talent than the 2 of them.
