I think united went 26 or 27 years without winning the title if i am right and i agree with you there mate. This crisis is always happening to a club anywhere in the world and we just have to get through it collectively. Before it hit us, Pompey got the worst of it and got relegated with their ownership issues and debts, before that Newcastle were hit with a similar fate and those are just a few PL examples because i am sure there are many clubs that struggle out there atleast once in their prelonged history. Its unfortunate that it is with us now, we must stand as one and fight and get behind our team at all times. Our team is capable of winning but its just a curse that we have to wait until we find a cure to. I dont wanna say we can finish within the top 4 and win a trophy because thats unrealistic at these times but if our team can get back to playing good football and winning many games, then maybe we will get there in due time.

Back to Back World Champions baby!

We are Liverpool!! we still are one of the biggest football clubs in the world, everyone in the world knows who Liverpool FC are.

We are the most successful team in the history of football in England, we are also one of the most succesful clubs in the world, we have a very large amount of trophys and titles to our name.

Our fanbase is worldwide, what happened to Newcastle, Leeds etc etc will never happen to us i promise you. We are in a different league to those sorts of teams, we aren't becoming a "midtable team". Were having a ruff patch yes!! not playing very well yes!! It will come good, at the end of a storm there's a golden sky... you should know this.

Liverpool aren't your run of the mill football team, look at Istanbul, theres something magic about this club, it will never just role over an die. We may have a bad season this year but it won't go on forever.

The way we are playing at the moment is disgusting but show your support it can only get better, we need 1 good performance and it will change.

We've been in decline since the late 80s .... No one can turn that around overnuight without a pile of dosh and a really strong motivational manager. We need City's money and Real Madrid's manager to do it.

We don't specifically need him. But we need someone who is a long way away from Roy.

Think it's the wrong club to compare us with when you talk about United. Liverpool are a big Club yes but your talking about one of the giants in the game with United, we have only become a big Club from the 70's onwards even Everton were always a bigger Club than Liverpool before that. United were massive in the 50's and 60,s even when they were trophyless in the 70's and 80's they still broke transfer records, they pulled in an average of over 55,000 when they were in the old second division in 1976. We could win 100 leagues and Champions leagues and we will never be the same as them it's just like Valencia no matter what they win will never be bigger than Real Madrid or Barcelona or PSV bigger than Ajax.

My only two expectations right now are that neither Torres nor Hodgson will be with us at the end of the January transfer window.
