Worried about groundshare? not anymore, with the new merged liverpool-everton club MERSEYSIDE UNITED.

i think its a great idea. lets do it. we can have half and half red and blue jerseys. Plus we'sd get a whole squad of players for free. AND a spare manager.

Out of the two squads we may get half a decent one.!!

and just to reinforce my suggestion, i take a tiny tiny interest in australian rules footie, and settled on the Brisbane Lions as my team. Very interesting history this team. They used to be two seperate teams, the Brisbane Bears and The Fitzroy Lions. The Bears were a relatively new team full of youthful potential, the Lions a long established but financially troubled club, neither of which had the potential to compete for honours. until they merged in 1996/97. since then they have become a formidable force in the AFL. and these are two clubs from different cities.

Liverpool and everton are already from the same city.

well if both clubs are going to continue being sh*te, then whats the point? i say give it a couple of years, and when if were both still rubbish and we are in the financial crapper, i think merge up. it'll be great craic, and would certainly make things more interesting.
i was watching chelsea last night and they put us to shame. they're a billion times better than we are.

The fact that we are behind Chelski, Man u, Arsenal and to some extent Citeh and Spurs is no argument for wanting to Merge with a team worse than half of the teams in the prem. What do you want an merging of middle mediocracy ?

There is absolutely no symbiosis between Liverpool and Everton. None! One tradionally fights and scraps for survival, the other conquers eases past the likes of Real Madrid.

Don't get too disheartened at the current form. It is normal when you change a number of players, have a new coach, have finacial troubles and have 2 owners who would rather bleed and institution dry than build it up.

It's like comparing Rome to Darcia, An Indonesian 5 course dinner with chips and egg, a thoroughbred racehorse with the donkey from Shrek, Darth Vader with the Jawas or even Richard Branson to Derrick Trotter.

the days of cruising past real madrid are over it seems, and my point is that if it continues, it makes sense for two teams of mediocre ability to join forces and be to everyones benefit.
