Yet another sports team belonging to Hicks gone down the swanny:
http://starsblog.dallasnews.com/archives/2010/09/greenberg-deal-lenders-strategy-could-be.html

Surely with another of his sports team bolloxed no-one will lend him money to have another crack at it, I think in a perverse way this is good news, though I feel sorry for the fans the Stars. The lenders have stepped in and essentially taken control of the Stars, could RBS be about to do the same thing with us?

On a side note interesting that it is a TV deal that has been a factor in scuppering the Stars sales, this is one of the prime reasons that Hicks wants to retain control of LFC, he wants to secure LFC new tv/internet deal which will boost the price of the club.

This is a nice article about LFC fan power:

Todd Archer Reporter [email protected]. He deals with the sports part of the paper, suppose it's no harm emailing him and telling them about our problems with hicks?

Good news lads.

"Comedian Mike Myers and actor Samuel L Jackson are rumoured to be involved in a protest film aimed at forcing Liverpool owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks to sell up."

Well that's all of our problems sorted. Sunshine and rainbows all round.
