I cant remember the last time he made real impact with spurs, not a regular as well. He doesnt score many, doesnt assist many either. He's useless and unworthy for a liverpool shirt in my opinion.

Babel is a good player but not LFC regular11 standard. He is influential when coming off the bench for last 15-20mins, espaecially when opponents are tired and i never see babel get dribbling past defenders, he simply has pace and goes straight forward, many times he bumps straight into the unmoving defenders. He got pace, skills and powerful finish but unfortunately, he doesn't know how to use his talents wisely. I feel Babel lost his place to pacheco after the awful lot against northampton.

Few words about Malouda. Malouda was always a world class player, he was awesome for lyon in CL and i personnaly noticed him in an international competition, i dnt remember maybe its euro2004 when malouda and ribery were key to succes for france team. After that ribery got the chance with barca but malouda was left a secret in france at lyon until chelsea got him. the year before last malouda got 6 goals while chelsea were under-performing and got 12 goals last season when lampard moved back ward to allow malouda move into a more foorward role. Thus malouda got more goals than previous season and lampard got fewer goals, mostly from set-pieces and penalties though. I'm sure Babel has nothing such to offer us. babel has started 3-4 games this season, must have around 300mins of football. What has he shown upto now?? Just 1 goal, no assist and no eye-catching performance!! Take example of Kelly, N'gog and mostly Spearing. They did show some prospect. Even though they get limited opportunity like Babel, These players try to show something that will encourage the manager to give them more opportunity. Babel plays as if he is the first name on the team sheet.If Babel ain't taking his opportunity then how would you expect the manager to claim risk by fielding you?? For me, Pacheco and N'gog comes before Babel. Babel is a Superstar, but not in footbal but in Rap and twitter!!

I'm one for respecting opinions but no ones as fecking daft as that post and this fecking thread.

1. Babel is shiiite not awesome, you must have a litte gay fantasy if you think he's that good
2. Jenas is Shiite aswell, we can't be signing players just because of the sake of it.

We've got jonjo shelvey coming through who looks like he's going to be a player, so why bring someone in whol not only get on the team but knock the confidence of this kid. Jenas was getting compared to gerrard at one point in his career an never cane close, and he's a sick note.
I really do think mate ud benefit from watching the game and games of other teams instead of smoking on of then pipes u got in eygpt, maybe they have clouded your judgement on how bad babel and jenas really fecking are

Die hard scouser- babel was influential in his first season when coming on in the last 10mins or so, but since then he hasn't . This lad has got so much pace it's so fustrating that he doesn't knock it past it and use it. Instead he wants to cut inside or try to trick to beat his player. When did henry ever do that? He never when beating players he ran at them full tilt and played to his strengths. Babel never does so it's time he fecked off somewhere else or smoked some pipes in Egypt with ahmedmeza

Some people have a bad knowledge of the game putting "Babel" and "awesome" in the same sentence shows a clear indication of this and struggling to see the difference between a player that is "awesome" and a player that when given his chance blows it everytime.

Look at Babel against Northampton, if he was half decent pro footballer he would have given that team hell, all on his own. Babel at some stage has had some sort of talent, but i don't know what happened to it, he just never used it.

Jenas: Just as bad in my opnion, another player that isn't good enough and wouldn't serve a purpose in our squad. Why someone would even consider putting up a thread on going in for Jenas is beyond me.

Ngogs improvement has got nothing to do with Hodgson. Its down to the individual. Ngog has improved because he's willing to learn and put the effort in.

Babel has had countless chances to prove his worth to the side but never takes them. Then there's the issue of his effort in daily training sessions. Rafa didnt rate him in the end neither does Hodgson. Surely you can see that at least?!

As much as he's [oops] on the pitch, i heard and a few players have said the same as this... that Babel is a world beater in training and knowone can get the ball off him.
