Just rumours, but apparently Roy is monitoring Larsson's situation with Birmingham. Larsson is in the last year of his contract and is stalling on a new deal. Roy wants to either get him in for a nominal fee in January or snap him up next summer. If true, not the kind player we should be targeting but could be a decent squad player and has a very good cross on him which could be useful as we have no wingers who can put in decent crosses. What's your views? I would like Swede's point of view on this? Btw, no link just told this.

he's good and should replace Maxi, 25 yo, PL proved, can play either right or center also to replace Meireles, that kicks out Lucas too
if we sell Maxi(5-6 mil), Lucas(6-7 mil), Babel(8-9 mil), Kuyt(11-12 mil) plus the money we had (around 14 mil) = 46 mil:
a good holding midfieder(Banega/Inler 14 mil)
a decent winger (Ashley Young 20 mil)
a good striker (Ruiz 12 mil), Gomez is so overpriced

good player who always gives everything for the team. not the quickest of players though and we do need pace on the wings.

but i would take him over maxi for sure. very good right foot, always a danger at set pieces.

Who is going to give us that sort of money for those players and why would young, banega etc want to join us when we are a mess on and off the park.get real.

I'm real, Roy wanna replace our crappy players, we are fighting for new owners who might as well bring a new coach, its already been a mess for too much time and i think this is as bad as it'll ever get

Dream on.it will get a lot worse before it gets better and the ownership shambles will rumble on a lot longer so don't think that will be sorted in a couple of weeks.it took years to get hicks out of texas rangers.

I agree, if he's a decent squad player do you not think he'd be at chelsea, man u. Arsenal didn't even want him an that says it all with the football they play. It's why we won't improve if we haven't got quality back up. Plus we've got amoo who I think can provide good pace an width on the right. We've got gerrard, cole, raul, poulsen, Lucas in midfield.

no more mediocre players please - purslow / broughton transfer embargo please until the new owners are sorted out - no players in or out - every "new signing" ie 2m + 3 yth players + crisps + a twix is turning us into a laughing stock. Everyone at the club should be concentrating on new owners and getting them yank barstewards out to fruck. just my thoughts.
And in my opinion Larrson is a worse player than jermaine pennant and we paid 7m for him. Just because they're free don't mean we shud sign them - theres usually a reason their free!

Too ordinary in my opinion, we need much mucb better quality players to add to the squad.
