Even if it is (and it's hard to see how anything in Hick's crumbling empire is more pressing than LFC), why would they loan them the money?

In this climate they won't help hicks. When things are going good cockroaches like hicks and his merry band can do what they want because they have a lot of front. If you asked someone like hicks to say show me your money he couldnt do under his leverage buy outs he hasn't got any money. Ultimate nightmare for LFC. Parry must have had bad advice to sell to the [oops]. I blame parry for this I don't blame RAFA one iota I don't blame MR H, I blame Parry

I know people are knocking 6 October & nothing will change, however people need to take a step back & look what is happening.

On that date Hicks & Gillette wil have defaulted their loan. RBS may not want to do the unthinkable & take us over but they have no other choice as they would be seen as being weak. The board would start an auction with the interested buyers starting at the debt figure and would choose a buyer as soon as possible.

Also, one other thing. On 6 October we will not be paying any further interest payments on the loan as we would be owned by the bank!

See what your getting at, but 6th of october is just a date that's been banded about by the media. RBS havn't explicitly said any date, nor would they in this situation. Other dates since the 6th was first talked about have reared their head. So we just don't know when anything is happening.

Same as that, I think they'll(RBS) extend the date by another few months, increase the interest repayments and nothing changes. Execpt the club pays more interest a month hope I'm wrong

Unfortunately its will not be that easy. The 2 leeches will not just leave on October 6th or whenever. If and a big IF RBS foreclose then Hicks will simply take out an injunction against the foreclosure and tie us and RBS up in the courts for years. like it or not he is the legal owner and in the eyes of the law he has rights. It is whether RBS and the rest of the board have the stomach for a legal battle that will cost millions.
