Well is this really all Hodgson is going to get with some , i can't believe 6 league games is enough to get a liverpool manager the sack , has it come to this ?

It doesn't look good, we start every game with the same non-sense tactics which Roy keep on and ignore the obvious talk like Agger should start, Shelvey should get a first team, Johnson is more useful forward, kill Poulsen & Maxi... etc its simple, if he's not smart enough to learn or too slow then he's just not up for it

Relax fellas. Times have changed. Liverpool have stagnated while the other premiership teams have improved. Based on historical facts, yes Sunderland should not stand a chance against us.
Lets face it. we are going to languish in mid table obscurity for the whole season. Things have to get worse before they get better.

I'm just stating the obvious here, but fans got totally hacked off last season under Benitez and didn't really anticipate Roy's appointment - they were expecting a younger, high-profile guy such as Rijkaard, Hiddink or even Mourinho. The constant failed takeovers haven't helped. That said, it's absolutely ridiculous to be talking about sacking the guy after 6 games, he needs a couple of seasons before he can be properly judged.
What I believe is needed urgently (and some of these points will seem like heresy to some):
Drop the obsession with Jamie Carragher. Great servant but past his best, no pace, not big enough for a centre half in today's game - I've been saying this for the last 3 years;
Play Agger as CB every game, provided he toughens up a bit - a centre half suffering concussion after being hit by a super-light ball must have made Tommy Smith laugh for weeks;
Drop Skrtel, his pretentions as a tough guy are limited to a shaved head and numerous tattoos. Abilities as a footballer stop there as well;
Release Aurelio and Insua on free transfers if that's what it takes to get them off the wage bill. I don't want to risk them appearing in the red shirt ever again;
I need not mention how I would deal with Lucas - suffice to say he is the worst player I have seen to regularly appear in our first team;
Tell Poulsen if he can't improve his performances by at least 100% after fully acclimatising to the English game he'll be sued for breaching the Trade Descriptions Act;
Make infinitely more use of Jay Spearing;
Play Babel in the centre, or not at all and always select him ahead of Ngog. Not that I'm overly enamoured with the Dutchman but he's the best support striker we have right now - I regard Joe Cole and Stevie as purely midfielders;
Should Nando still look like a shadow of the player he was in 2009 by this coming Easter, discreetly let other clubs know he is available for transfer.
May sound a touch brutal but desperate times call for harsh measures. I'm sick and tired of watching dross on a regular basis.

If you drop Carra and Skrtel...who partners Agger?

I don't really think it's about needing whatever number of games before judging. It depends on what you see.
I mean, if you had a manager come in and play six league games with Carragher up front, you wouldn't be saying "Oh, let's give him more time, he might know what he's doing".
Not that Roy's that bad. 6 points from 6 games isn't great, but if you look at the similar fixtures last season, we had about 6 points from them as well.
I can see why fans are concerned - we're not exactly looking good - but it is still early yet.
