The majority thought that he was going to be off following WC but when he returned he certainly put that to bed although besides from management I am sure that Stevie G played a significant role in his decision based on 'hold on fella things are going to get better just around the corner'!

Well at this stage things ain't got better and results and performances have placed the Manager and Club under great pressure. Torres loves scoring goals and this is not being achieved, strikers look for excuses when things aren't going well and to be fair under the current squad and tactics he has got plenty of reason to justify his lack of goals and off the pitch he has even more reason to prop up his argument of his lack of form and of course he is still recovering from injury and needs to reach full fitness!!

At the moment I would take 50m quid for him if it went in quality replacement but we all know that Torres is one of the best strikers in the world. If we can get his head straight with the ownership and start performing on the pitch I would never want him to leave the Club but he wants honours and at the moment we look a long way from fulfilling his desires and unless we 'fix' all the issues above nobody could blame him for leaving in Jan - I hope that doesn't eventuate but I am prepared for his departure and would wish him well. We are not a Club in transition but we are a Club in recession and until the ownership changes it may become major depression - I support the actions of SOS.

Happy days - not!!

If he moves to chelsea that is because he has done what he can at Liverpool, but Liverpool is now not a big enough stage for him as we are in rapid decline. If her turns down the mancs and real that shows loyalty to his former clubs.

What? You think he would choose Stoke? Give me a break, he deserves to be at a quality club of his choosing. If things take a turn for the better, great for us and him, if not then I really can not blame him for seeking a better opportunity elsewhere-anywhere he feels he can play and play with real support from the top down to the players in a competitive league. He's not a little sheit like Masch and I really would not have any ill feelings if he leaves. However, it would show incredible character if he sticks it out with us.

He will go unless we can prove we are of sufficient quality for him to waste his career on. Right now we aren't that; not even close. But since he knows that he's here until January at least, then he also knows that he's got to be putting in the performances that suggest he's worthy to play for us. Maybe he hasn't been doing that either.

The only thing that really worries me is that for the past three seasons we have failed to properly manage our best players, and that is having an adverse effect on performance. Roy's strength is his man management, so if our results and style of play improve but Torres still can't get his head right, then we're in a lot more trouble than we think.

Well, Torres's body language indicates his unhappiness!! I have yet to see him smile this season.. Look at these pics.. U will notice, despite only 1 day after being knocked out of league cup, all the players can afford a smile on their faces except Torres!! This guy is nurturing a prob inside himself.. I'm not sure he wants to leave though.. Maybe he is still very disappointed for not scoring in WC.. Even if Torres leaves liverpool , it wiil be at the end of season and certainly he will not be joining an english club.. So far i'm very pleased with his performance this season, even though he supplied many balls in the opposition half.. The through ball from joe cole against manure that created the penalty indicates cole and maybe meireles will help gerrard feed Torres better than so far.. I still can't believe LFC fans criticising Torres!! disgusting people.. shame on u.. u dnt deserve to be called a LFC fan, those who are against Torres..

True or not true all the moaning and poor play from torres doesn't help but if he stops moaning and starts playing it might just help the team get 4th or win a cup , but the way he has played this season is dire to say the least , and all the excuses coming out he gets no service ETC ETC is nonsense great players make the play not get it served on a plate like torres seems to want , You know what Fernando get your arse in to gear and score a few goals and put the shift in and if after that you want to leave leave until that date PUT THE SHIFT IN PLEASE AND STOP MOANING .
