a newspaper report is saying torres wants out in january with apparantly man city waiting in the wings with £50m i think its just paper bullsh1t but if he did you could understand why i think if we dont have new owners for the summer i think you can safely say he will go to barca.

Im not sure if he wants to leave or not but if he seriously underperforms for the rest of the season then we should think about selling him. Not to City or any English club but maybe Barca then we could get a decent player or 2 back.

Nobody could disagree that we are holding him back. One of the worlds leading players needs to be playing for one of the very best teams. We aren't one of those clubs at the moment so I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him ask to leave. Loyalty is one thing but Nando deserves to be challenging for top honours. As for him under-performing, anybody would get depressed with the service coming from Lucas, Maxi, Poulson etc.

He must play with someone else up front to share the burden. 1 up front may be in fashion right now, but I'm not a big fan. It should employed only in certain circumstances. Nando needs support, even if the other up front just loses an extra marker it can help him.

only way i see for him to say is that we get new owners, do good in PL & Uefa till January then new owners can spend and make us compete again, what are the chances ?

To be honest I really dont think he would get a game for Barca, the system they play with one up front supported by Messi who likes to drift suggests to me he wont get a game. The two main reasons I base my opinion on are that he is nowhere near as good as David Villa so he would'nt get the nod ahead of him and secondly would they really want to buy a player for alot of money who they will be lucky to get maybe half a season games out of, could be wrong though and they may have more money than sense.

how do you know where he'll go?players have no loyalty anymore so don't kid yourself otherwise.

rico, just not true. Torres has said many times, wouldnt go to manchester, wouldnt go to real, cause of loyalties.
