Nobody could disagree that we are holding him back. One of the worlds leading players needs to be playing for one of the very best teams. We aren't one of those clubs at the moment so I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him ask to leave. Loyalty is one thing but Nando deserves to be challenging for top honours. As for him under-performing, anybody would get depressed with the service coming from Lucas, Maxi, Poulson etc.
On the basis of the last 30 (yes THIRTY) games he's played for LFC, he doesn't rank in the top 100 world strikers and all this bullsh!t about him still 'lacking fitness' is absolute bullsh!t in my opinion. A 25- year old 'athlete' who can't reach full fitness with constant access to state of the art gym equipment and dedicated physios, months after an injury treated by the worlds' leading medical experts, can only be a joker or a skiver.
And oh, he's paid over £100,000 a week just to stay fit and therefore be suitable for playing when selected.
