No no no no no. he's done well when he's been called upon bit seriously do people think he's good enough to be playing week in week out? People say carra is slow, this guy is like an old steam train trying to to hit top speed. He's got no pace. Having a tall presence is good against the teams like Stoke, as proven last season but even now, would he be able to cope with kenwyn jones pace.

Sorry but it makes my blood boil, he's the best defender we've got at the club, yet people are clearly blind to see that, without carra in the side are defence would be a shambles, even more to those who think carra is past it, it makes my blood boil. It was the same when Sami turned 31-32 ish, people turned on him bcus of his age, suddenly he was past it, no speed can't keep up with the game. I think Carra is being judged slightly harshly myself. With a player like Skrtel playing alongside him not only does he have to worry about his own job but also that of his defensive partner.

Jamie might be getting on a bit but he is still 10 times better than Skrtel and probably still will be when he is 60.! :-)

He may be slightly on the slide but I would rather judge him when he is not playing by himself in the center of our defense.
