Everytime i see him hes impressed me,hes dominant in the air wins headers and he not too slow either.Im getting pretty sick of skrtel because all he does is foul foul foul..Plus you dont know what your gonna get out of agger,hes hit and miss.Carraghers even terrible these days and if he wasnt jamie carragher im sure hed be dropped by now.Our defence just cant deal with long balls and crosses,we cant win headers its ridiculous.We never score from corners or free kicks because we dont attack the ball but when i see kyrgiakos he wins nearly every header and attacks the ball and tries his hardest.

Greek should be 1st team IMO, skittles is a penalty waiting to happen.

Its hard to drop Carra but after that performance last night, I think the Greek should get a chance alongside Agger. We still haven't seen what Wilson can do. Roy should try him out in the cup games.

The Greek, Kelly, Agger, Wilson should all be given a chance.....At least the Greek has some aerial strength and we have been struggling there this season and in the past and with Agger he can bring the ball out of defence (on most occassions with confidence)!

Been thinking the same myself. Carra is becoming a liability, sad as that is to say because he's been fantastic for us; he's now past his sell-by date. Skrtel hasn't really shone either, and he's had all the starts in the world to prove himself. I'm concerned that Roy sees Agger more as backup to Konchesky at LB than as a first pick CB, and a paradigm like that is going to shaft us this season. I remember Kyrgiakos arriving at Liverpool and being poor at the start. But since he came back into the team he's been really good most of the time. Now I'll take really good with some average games and the odd bad one over really average and the odd bad one any day, which for me means he must start ahead of both our current CBs.

Agger and Kyrgiakos as 1st choice central pairing. Agger is quick and aggressive, Kyrgiakos is strong and an aerial battering ram.

Disagree with you mate, everytime he stepped into the team he has done well and contributed positevly.
