Babel had possibly his best game for LFC yesterday IMO, for the first time I can remember he chased back and pressurised players who had the ball, OK sometimes on it he let himself down but you have to view his overall contribution. Even my 15 year old son raised this point after the first half so it must have been fairly obvious.!
As for Ngogg I thought in general he had a pretty poor game last night, he was continually slow to react and his ball control at times was appalling. Having said that he found the net and I have no doubt that he could be a very good striker indeed in the future as he always finds himself in the right spots, unfortunately his finishing up until now has not been of the same standard but it will come.

Babel had a much better game against Arsenal at the Champions League, he was given a free role by rafa back then

We signed Babel after an excellent u-21 tournament when he played up front for them.....Anyways, Ngog did nothing all game but scored 2 goals then suddenly hes awesome, Babel was slightly better but was on the left so had no chance of scoring. Surprised he didn't take penalty as he was a penalty-taker in his youth. When switched to right, he looked dangerous. Start him on right against Utd and put Jova or Pacheco on the left.

As long as he keeps scoring, whats the problem? The rest will come, be patient.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

I reckon he'll be a quality player but to say Ngog was awesome last night and Babel was appauling is way off the mark.

All Babel has proved is he is not a left wing. He's looked okay on his stronger foot, and is a more natural striker, so let's not judge him until he's spent more time on the field as a striker or on the right.

N'gog may not be the complete forward Torres is, but he's scored 6 from 6 and has an "assist" (pulled down for a penalty that Gerrard scored). That makes him our best player after Reina thus far, so stop knocking him. It is not the striker's job to look pretty, but to scores goals, and that is what he is doing.

N'gog can really partner and be our in-the-box striker, but i wish Roy would start with both Torres & Babel as strikers against ManU
