REINA...Liverpools best player,last 2 years! Simple
SOTO... Got beating on the ground a lot, but reliable in the air.
AGGER...had a tidy game, prefer him to Skrtel he doesnt booth everything for a touch.
KONCHESKY...not as good as his debut but still think he was good.
KELLY...Disappointed, he looked slow.
MAXI...Im a fan, just because he does everything simple. Happy to hear the crowd cheer his name tonight.
SPEARING...No Gerrard/ but a tidy player wouldnt give up on him yet.
Meireles...Great short passer of the ball, no difference to Aquilani yet though. If anything aqua was more creative!
Cole...Fantastic will create chances from no where!
BABEL...hopeless on the wing, upfront is his only hope now!
Ngog..1st half little service, 2nd half improved and good finishes so no complaints.
LUCAS...Great goal
PACHECO...Love watching him because he searches for the ball to create.

we were dreadful in the first half tbh in the second half we played with a good tempo pressed them high up the pitch and i thought babel cole and meireles were very good in the second half. i dont like ngog at all he is so weak and easy to push around, spearing had an okay game would prefer to see shelvey starting though shelvey has a very bright future would also like to see amoo in the squad

Really enjoyed watching the 2nd half
nice touches and back heels and looked they were enjoying it.
Ngog seems to be scoring well in Europe
Maxi played much better last night than on the weekend.
Would like to see more of Pacheco

A over all good performance in my opinion.

Positives: Ngog scoring, spearing having a decent game(finally), Cole was very creative and busy man throughout the match. Passing much better then the birmingham game but still needs improvement.

Disapointing: Merelies, he was non existent at all throughout the match and made little impact. Babel was once again horrible on the left wing, Roy must give him a chance upfront, its the only way. Defence must tighten up but it was good overall, Kelly not one of his best games but still can improve.

Overall i was happy about the result. Although we missed most of first teamers, we still put a good performance which is good for the confidence if Torres or Gerrard gets injured.

It was a good result but the performance was not great, particularly the first half.

I thought Raul actually did ok, he made some mistakes I know but he did look to pass the ball forward and I think once he has a better understanding with his team mates we will see the best of him.

The most frustrating thing for me was that we were like statues in the in the first half of the game. We should have tore them apart in the first half, any time they got a small amount pressure on them they made a mistake and yet we just sat back.

2nd half things improved but even after the second goal we were still a bit static, it wasnt until late on when we had clearly won that we began to see movement from the players.

We're a pure confidence team at the moment, if its going good we decide to play, if its not going our way or its 0-0 or even 1-0 to us we're just hanging on waiting to be scored against. The only way to turn this around is to get results, last night helped but beating the mancs will help a lot more.

Jay was excellent tonight huge slap on the back for the lad and well done to Ngog for having the balls to take the penalty and a great finish for his second goal.
