Was going to suggest much the same as this.

What bench, then?
Jones, Kelly, Lucas, Pacheco, Skrtel, Babel, Shelvey
That covers just about everything, and we should get a chance to see the youngsters unless things go badly wrong.

I really like this line up as well and you mention a nice bench. I think we will see 1-0 win or 6-0 win, no in-between for these two teams, Burm will either do scrappy well or deteriorate completely. After this win, I also firmly believe we will beat ManU 2-0 next week. Not wishful thinking, I just do not think they are playing well and we will be for more motivated.

Think tomorrow is a game where we could just manage to get away with Playing Gerrard in the central midfield position as Birmingham are not one of the big boys. One thing is for certain we would never get away with playing Gerrard in the centre next week as he would be eaten alive at Old Trafford so it might be better playing him nearer Torres next Sunday if Torres can manage to get through tomorrows game without being injured.

I tend to respect your posts because they are your opinions which is fine even if I do not agree with them but to say Gerrard would be eaten alive against the Mancs is just mad. Exactly who in the Mancs midfield would eat Gerrard alive?

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

Guys what is your view on Gerrard so far playing in the middle of the park?

I was actually one of those many people that wanted him to play in the middle once again so he can distribute the play more often. After watching the first few games i reckon he is a bit lost out there sometimes and nowhere to be seen. Playing Gerrard behind Torres was a very effective partnership which produced 20 goal seasons for Gerrard. I know it is way too early to judge but since we have Mereiles in the middle of the park, maybe Gerrard can roam forward to aid Torres.

i agreed with you fella i reckon gerrard should play behind torres even wen coley is back from suspension i would shift coley to the left and have gerrard behind torres for the rest of the season if torres gets injured i would then put gerrard back in the middle and go with two striker upfront

i think roy would start with both torres & babel upfront, im sensing they r going to rock wink

---------------Reina----------------
Johnson----Carra--Agger----Konchesky
--------------Poulsen---------------
Gerrard-------Meireles-----Jovanovic
-----------Babel---Torres-----------

with Babel going right and Gerrard inside when defending

old trafford
---------------Reina----------------
Johnson----Carra--Agger----Konchesky
-------Poulsen-------Meireles-------
Babel---------Gerrard-----------Cole
---------------Torres---------------
