i no everyone has different opinions but surely the manager can see rooney just aint a 1st choice striker id rather have crouch an defoe all day and the sticking gerrard anywhere on the pitch just to get him on doesnt work gerrard needs to be in the middle with barry and andy johnson must start on the left with milner on the right. as ireland goes i hope they do well but i wont lose any sleep as the same applies to england i am english but ive just fallen out with the negative performances all the time.

We want Ireland to qualify because it gives us an excuse to skip work and drink Guinness at 7 in the morning,act the fool and for some reason have an even bigger party when we get knocked out.

Hey,4 days in 4 years is not bad.

I been supporting england for a long time even tho im not english but recently ive lost hope to be honest. Players arent performing like they do clubwise apart from Gerrard and a few others. Im beginning to watch spain alot largely because of torres ofcourse but it doesnt mean i stopped supporting england. I want them to win the European championship but we all know that won't happen. I see alot of you waiting for the ireland game tonight, well goodluck with that, hope they win

Steven was fantastic again for england tonight. on top of his game again dare i say. and adam johnson looks like he's going to become a top top player, great winger, shame we didnt manage to snap him up really!

Didnt see the irish but good to see Doyle score again, i rate that guy extremly high. just seen the highlights of Riena's mistake against the argies.... OOPS!
