What do we know about this fella, and how good is he? is he a top class midfielder? what can we expect from him?

Still not much has been said about him really.

I dont think anyone knows too much , I seen him a bit in the WC and i thought he was nearly there best for the tournament. Time will tell though pal

I just think its mad the way know one seems to know anything really, hes 27 so its not like hes not been around that long.

I can't really remeber him in the world cup but most people who do say he was one of portugals better players.

I haven't seen much of him but from what I can gather he is very well regarded in Portugal. I remember that the Chavs and Manure were looking at him last year.

From what i have seen of him, he is an intelligent short passer. He's got a good engine too.

im really excited about this signing he has the potential to be a key player for us only time will tell if he can cut it in the prem.

there are some exceptions (helder postiga and hugo vianna) obviously it depends on the individual but the majority of the bigger name Portuguese internationals over the last few years that have arrived in the prem have managed to cut it.

well for porto he was scoring 4-5 goals per season, has a good shot on him apparently aswell, im looking forward to seeing what he can do, you can't really mark him on his first or 2nd game even, lets give him chance to settle.

I have high hopes for him, he will create alot more than masch ever did.

sounds to me that he is a bit like essien can do it all and works very hard for the team .... if he turns out to be half the player essien is i will be very happy
