I am now getting very very worried and disturbed by the vile and disturbing comments about Roy Hodgson and his signing of Paul Konchesky , Its getting really beyond a joke the vile and shocking abuse these people are now getting on internet forums the radio and television programmes . I will say it again its these myopic "fans" who are now taking the club to a new low level shameful actions . It saddens me that the new manager is getting so much abuse after a couple of months in charge and the signing of a left back is the same utter disgrace , and the welcome for these people from the so-called "best fans in the world" what a laugh that is , Just hate to see what would be getting said when Sir Bob bought Joey Jones or Alan Kennedy both were not the most gifted of players but were the right players for the team at the time , But they wouldn't have a chance now they would be abused and castigated before they kicked a ball , WHAT A DISGRACE SHAMEFUL .

Dont worry Roy will be fine.You have to accept the fact that these people will start surfacing if Roy is doing badly,almost as if they are enjoying the team doing badly??I wouldn`t pay too much attention to them.

it is a shame that people think it is ok to judge someone with roy's vast experience and decide that he is useless because they have spent too many hours playing football manager

There is unfortunately a dangerous sinister undercurrent of fan amongst Liverpool fans now that never used to be there, I have seen the stuff on other foruns written about the appointment of Roy and the signing of Konchesky and it's shameful. I think the days of fans in the Sir Bob era have gone forever though mate, we will never see that type of fan again, that was the era when Liverpool fans gained the reputation of being the most fair and knowledgable fans in the world, very sad day's fan wise now.

There was a time when the club & it's fans would stay silent & hit back at the doubters by producing results. It now seems we have to do that to shut up the lfc fans who are in a difficult place at the moment.

The worst part of it all, is I feel these ridiculous comments been said about Roy and Konchesky is anger about the state of the club under the current owners. If we had the money who else could we have bought????? Bridge? city would not have sold to us,who else is there?????. I think it's a great buy for two reasons. 1, We have paid nothing for him, It was a swap deal granted Del a valla going the other way , but i taught I seen something about a buy back so no problem
2, We have a great young french player coming through the ranks at LB and in a year or two he'll be the number one pick. I don't like saying anything bad about Rafa but it's time some "Fans" not supporters stoped looking at things through rose tinted glasses. NOT EVERYTHING HE DONE WAS GREAT
One thing is for sure it can not be as bad a deal as selling Alonso and buying a INJURED player for 20 million to replace him!!!!!.

Agree absolutely. Konchesky has been a decent left back in the Premiership for years and to get him almost on a free was a great deal. Certainly a vast improvement on the three clowns who were previously vying for the spot.
And yes, the Alonso-Aquilani transactions must rank in the LFC top 10 "Examples of Most Bizarre and Incompetent Management" list. During recent times, only Houllier's decision to release Anelka and sign El Hadji Diouf compares.
Feck the scum referred to by fazakerley red 1. LFC doesn't deserve or need them.
