He we go peeps a thread dedicated to the egnima that is Ryan Babel!

I'm sick and tired of his name popping up in every bloody thread so I've set this up so you can all share your thoughts and feelings on our very own Dutch rap star.

How lucky are we?!

Lucky enough that we don't have Heskey.

I would keep him atleast till Jan. He is the only midfielder we have with any pace and can go past a player.

Going past a player with the ball under control would be a bonus though.

I think deep down we all know that Babel is not going to make it at LFC. Sadly lacks the guile required to play at this level. The obvious talent is at best predictable, several coaches and now two managers have tried with him and no one seems to be able to unleash what we all feel is in there.
i use his shooting as an example it is all cut in and let go, impressive but quite often a bit of subtly is required. Never bends a shot towards the corner even though thats were the space is. Nice lad, good pro but a bit thick really.

I think he´s more of the thin type!
