totally agree and anyone who saw different are well and truly blinkered. we have hired a manager who plays the same way as rafa, 2 holding midfielders at home to a lesser team. il take any win at this time and the result always comes before the performance but we are in for another long long season
the goal came from a hoof we looked like we have no width we so desperatly need some natural pacey width and back up for torres bu good news on the signings lets hope they can replace the skill deprived lucas and pulson who just dont look like prem footballers.
Ugly game alright, although class all around on the goal by Reina, Gerrard, Kuyt and Torres. The most important thing to take from this game are the 3pts, we got Meireles coming in which will sub Lucas and add alot of creativity and an offensive threat to the middle along with Joe Cole coming back from suspension. Hopefully Roy will sign a striker and we will be back in the race for the title..YNWA!
