Anybody getting concerned now? This is the one area that cost us last year. Surely we wont make the same mistake again?

Why dont we just wait till Sept 1st before we start worrying,we either will sign another forward player or we wont,i trust Roy knows what he is doing.

if we do OR don't get a striker we need to move Kuyt off the wing and play him as back up only, Babel would probably do the job but he is just so lazy.! Ngog is still learning and his control sometimes is appalling. Fingers crossed we get somebody in.

we certanly need a striker if we are to try an compete for the top four because if torres gets injured we are very short up front with no natural ability but i dont no who we could attract with so little funds.

Ngog need improvements in thousands of areas.
It looks to me that Roy wants to get Babel back to his natural position as a striker, not a winger. I also have the feeling that we'll be seeing Pacheco often (mostly as a sub tho). We desperately do need another consistent striker, but it's simply too optimistic to believe that we'll get a new one at this stage, having spent most of the money from masch's transfer (if Meireles and Konchesky sign for sure that is)
