I agree Emp. I think we do need another CM. Oh and a left back, and a right back that can defend, and a right mid that can cross the ball, and a CF that can last a season, maybe a left mid. Feel good about our keeper though.
priority for me is wingers. these first few games has reminded me of how crappy wingers we've got compared with the other top teams. there's no creativity and most importantly no pace at all.
an alternative could be to include hleb in the deal for masch. that would give us some more quality on the wings at the same time as we could afford to bring in someone like parker...

After thought maybe we do need another cm but we've got the up and coming jonjo shelvey as a good prospect and little jay spearing who I no ain't good enough but he could be useful coming off the bench. I'd say we need a striker, out n out left winger and a left back, koncheski imo to get more English bite in the squad and he's not a bad player, better than insua.
