i read these threads day in day out and just a lot of people seem to dismiss roy right away give the guy a break to be honest hes not exactly doing the easiest job! hes got no money no investment a bunch of players who are down in the dumps from last season i think he's done a good job hes kept gerrard and torres tried to keep masch but to be fair the guys family is unhappy so hes prob got a lot on his plate at home. until roy gets finances to mach the top teams roy is doing liverpool a favour hes took a job not many managers would of wanted support the guy get behind him and the team and hopefully we can win something and stay in the uefa or even make the champions league i believe 4-7th in the league is realistic. so get

yes pretty much i know everyones gonna say liverpool are the greatest club in the world etc etc etc but at the end of the day hes doing a job with the bare minimum recources a lot of managers see they wont have money and they run you really think mancini, ancheloti, jose, pep fergie, would be at these top clubs if they had no money the answer would be NO. roys trying his best to keep liverpool in some form of contention for top four. like it or not murph as it stands were not the force we were 2-3 years ago roys trying his best and people are on his back already so yes hes doing liverpool a favour.

So when Joe Cole signed for us when he had the pick of any other premier league club he was doing us a favour?

Nobody is doing Liverpool a favour, its an honour to manage and play for this great club.

murph you seem to be in a smoke cloud liverpool is a great club yes great history great support. but at this current time what is great about liverpool fc? 230+ million pound debt?? a squad that isnt getting younger? letting 20 million pound signing going on a loan? and making a fringe player signings. yeah we signed JC which was a brilliant deal. but at the end of the day maybe favour is the wrong word and i cant think of any other. but hes doing probably the hardest job in the premiership at this moment in time i wouldnt like the job and im sure a lot of people wouldnt. but everyone jumps on his back? to many lfc fans live in the past not the present.
