OP carlos homper Under 18 Player C Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 781 betty ford clinic	this just a post a little bit venting of things going on at liverpool that i dont understand. 1st of all we sell dosena at xmas 5mil ish then comes the summer we sell riera 5m yossi 5.5m we send aqua to juve on loan with a view to selling for 13.1m at the end of the season and then theres mash who we are negotiating selling .now lets look who we have signed cole for free yes hes a good signing jovanavic free no better than riera with less ability on the ball wilson a 2m defender who we havent seen yet and then poulson which i dont see being a great player at all that we payed well over the odds for.so to some up thats roughly 20m brought in and about 7m going out this wont be including the 20 25m that we will get for mash so we could end up with 35m roughly left over and not one player signed that has had us jumping for joy apart from cole.so here is my opinion i do think the owners are asset striping, roy also said im not going to make a big money signing until ive got to no my squad better so why has aqua gone on loan is he not better than lucas and why are we after signing konchesky who is another 2m sh1t player we have gone backwards major since rafa has gone im not slating roy but i think hes here just because i dont think he will stand up to the current owners and then there could be kuyt going not that that bothers me but were selling 15 20m pound players an replacing them with 3m pound players im just wonderingis is it me or are we looking done for until we get new owners.

Players, performances, owners, investments, transfer dealings, results, fans even our new coach with a fresh outlook seems a bitter and slightly edgy of late. Nothing seems to be too optimistic or positive. Sad times at the moment.

Roy is in a hard position for a manager, I personally (if i weren't a Liverpool supporter) would have never taken the job, over the fulham job with the season he had prior. Having said that, I will give Roy a go, but he is not the type of manager we should be attracting to our club. They say success starts at head office. Our head office lacks a head. Therefore, there is no way known that anyone one, not even the best coach in the world, could do wonders with us at the minute. That performance against man city was filtered down from the top. Our guys were down, you could see it on the pitch. But I think the current ownership situation is 90% of the issue. I believe our next owners will be special and will have the foresight to bring people in that are worthy to wear our liverbird on their heart, because at the moment some of the people that put our fine crest on are tainting its stature. The way i look at it is if you owned a Formula 1 car,yet never paid for it to be maintained and looked after,how many races would that car win?Would the driver and the pit team get the blame for its bad performance,or is it down to the owner to invest in the upkeep of that car?If Roy does badly this year please remember whos really to blame first and foremostly.

Though we are waiting 20 years for a premiership trophy,I believe, yes, i do believe we wont have to wait much longer. I have every faith in Broughton, purslow and co. that they'll find a right buyer for our club before the end of the year. We should all stay together and support our club, not point our fingers at Roy, and keep the hope that good times are just right around the corner! Have patience and we'll be back where we belong, at the top! YNWA You'll never walk alone

They will be replaced with journeymen like Poulson, Konchelsky, Jovanovic etc. The yanks will close the club before they spend a single dime of thier own money to pay the debt. I think it's ridiculous that they still think they can get so much money for this club, every day our value is diminishing to the point when a Ken Bates £1 special is the most likely outcome.
