we are a club in financial trouble, were you expecting anything different in regards to sales and purchases. Roy is in a hard position for a manager, I personally (if i weren't a Liverpool supporter) would have never taken the job, over the fulham job with the season he had prior.
Having said that, I will give Roy a go, but he is not the type of manager we should be attracting to our club. They say success starts at head office. Our head office lacks a head. Therefore, there is no way known that anyone one, not even the best coach in the world, could do wonders with us at the minute. That performance against man city was filtered down from the top. Our guys were down, you could see it on the pitch. But I think the current ownership situation is 90% of the issue.
I believe our next owners will be special and will have the foresight to bring people in that are worthy to wear our liverbird on their heart, because at the moment some of the people that put our fine crest on are tainting its stature.
