Roy will do much better than rafa. He has bought in better players already, we play man-to-man marking and we seem to be playing attacking football. Give the guy a break and see what he does. He seems to be playing attacking football? I'm all for positvity on ere but that is a joke surely, the last 3 games we've been [oops] poor, 2nd half against arsenal wa as good as it got over the last 3 games. As for doing much better than rafa, do you really think hel get us in the champions league four times in 6 years, 2 finals, 3 semis, fa cup, 2nd in the league. murph, if your loyalty lies with LFC then why slag Roy off every opportunity? Cant you see already the forst two games that we are playing more attacking football? Ok we lost 3-0 but citeh were awesome and they should be with the amount of money they have spent.
Dont you remember the negative and stubborn football under rafa? The zonal marking? the 'play not to concede a goal' system and more importantly, the amount of money that he had which was spunked up the wall on uselss players that we still have!

As regards to his first signing Poulsen well lets say he needs to improve hell of a lot. Murph75 mate, you seem to be upsetting people left, right and centre maybe you should stick to poking fun at peoples illnesses which you are good at instead of talking about Liverpool Football Club as you dont seem to know much about football given what people are telling you here...

LFC1984RH, you must be a real hard nut with the name calling from your keyboard.
I honestly do believe we are playing more attacking football. You may have forgotten the last few games last season?? How negative we were? How defensive we were? How rafa go no-one in (other than nando) who can create something. Yeah we won trophies but since 2005 (which he took over a team from Houllier and the same players were there) it has got worse and worse. When we finished second that was a massive over acheivment because even then i didnt think we played well enough to deserve 2nd spot.
and yeah, I do think he will get us 4th spot but not this year and maybe not next season because we still have a load of crap players left over by rafa! spurs, everton and man city are all that bit better than last season which will make it harder for us.
And man to man marking is proven to be more successful than zonal in the PL. The only reason we may look a bit shakey doing it is because rafa enforced it so much last season. it didnt work but rafa was too stubborn to change his ways!
See that LFC?? No name calling.
