Roy's just starting mate and he knows there's respect to be gained. I believe he's more than capable of doing this which is why i'm 100% behind him. If I or anyone else wants to sing the praises of people that matter to this great club then I will mate regardless of emperor hodge or other wannabe fans who, by magic of the tinternet, now have a voice no matter how illthought or irrelavent.

What some people need to understand is that our disgraceful support has history of singing for people no longer connected with our club. Anyone in Monaco in 2005 will of witnessed the disgraceful Michael Owen chants when Djibril Cisse was waiting on the touchline to come on even though that horrible little
sh!t Owen had already fu*ked us over by walking out on us three days before the previous season started. Liverpool fans disgust me but I suppose it's something I will have to accept given our great club lost it's identity years ago.

Stop watching too much tele then,,, I remember watching some little jock geazer and, like every one around me, thought this guy's not fit to lace Keegans boots. If you're descraced by Liverpool fans in any context, louts apart, then reconsider your support.

and what in your mind red is the fundamental reason for the lack of identity over the years?

Just think what we have become now is what happend to United years ago before us. I think the club actively seeked outside support instead of local support because there was more money in them to the extent that they now give tickets to overseas travel clubs and Thomas Cook e.t.c. when you have such a wide range of support from all over the place the club will always lose it's identity. Everton are known as the peoples club because the majority of it's support come from the area the club represents, same as Manchester City and every other club, United and Liverpool have become victims of there own success identity wise.

Why we wasting our time talking about Benitez, time to move on guys!!

Your forgeting one important thing, your treating supporting a club like buying a new pair of shoes or something and it's slightly more important than that for some people. You cant support a club for so long and so loyal and then all of a sudden decide just because you dont like something about the club you change for a new one, your diluded if you think thats how it works.
