Guardiola is very clever and a catalonian trainer. He wants catalonian players in his team.
On question.. why Yaya Toure is on Manchester City being the best defensive middfielders on the world?
Easy answer, due to Guardiola. Xabi, Iniesta, Busquets are catalonian. When Guardiola arrived to Barcelona inicially Ronaldhino and the next season Etto were sold. Why?? Because they wanted a local boys team.
Guardiola´s idea for this season is becoming Sergio Busquets as the best defensive middfilder on the world. And the first step was selling Yaya. In case an injure.. the option are Dos Santos, Oriol and Thiago Alcantara (all of then teenagers and catalonian).
If Mascherano goes to Barcelona is for being the third or forth option.
Why Barcelona is offering only 15 m??? and they offered 45 for Cesc?? So simple Cesc is catalonian and it was Guardiolas´priority.
Masacherano is not a Guardiola´s priority and he won´t play with Guardiola.

So if Barcelona offer us a decent figure.. we should sell him to them.
