Hopefully that swedish fella will come in by the end the week, his big, strong and can pass, looks like he will be a good foil for Torres. We need to sell Masch, even if it is only 15m and hleb or whatever. As much as it would be nice to go all vengeful on his ass it ain gonna help our cause. Just get shot and bring in the players we need. We've apparently got the money for the swedish guy and an LB. Use the Masch money to bring in Dafour.

They were much better than us tonight. Johnson showed a lot of quality for them. Milner had a decent debut. When we click we're can beat any team at Anfield but we need Stevie G, Cole and El Nino to be on form. I'm really concerned Lucas and Ngog for me are not up to standard and I doubt will ever be.:(

Troy most of the team was embarrassing, it was a bad performance all round.
I think Ngog may yet go, Lucas will become a squad player at best. I still cant really knock Kuyt, the guy scores 10-15 goals a season and gets a number of assists. Jova we will just have to wait and see, everyone has liked him until now and all of sudden his should be shot becuase he had a bad game like the rest of the team, lets wait and see before we hang the guy.

You could see the gulf in class between us already and there is only two games gone, although City were'nt special tonite they looked strong and hungry all over the pitch. Tonite for me was the best time to play City as there new players are not properly settled it will be alot harder later on in the season when these new signings have bedded in.

i think unless we get taken over tommorrow we are all gonna have to grin and bear it this season and hope for the best with what we got if we got to grin and bear it and can't afford new players then. let the crap go and start playing the youngsters, we wont go down our kids are better than wigan and co.... we as fans need to be told clearly what is happening at the club both with the ownership and team affairs and what expectation are for the season because the only way we get 4th is if the others have a terrible season...

by the looks of that rubbish tonight we are the club in turmoil that the press have been banging on about.it was glad to see Hodgson pick a 4-4-2 formation but the players didn't have a clue what they were doing.wheres the passion?the effort?the fight?there is also a huge lack in talent in our team.there is no point in buying Toivenen(spelling)if we cant create a thing down the wings.there was no movement or invention.there will be no takeover until after the transfer window has shut and by the time january gets here i dread to think what our league position will be.
things cant get much worse at the moment but i have a feeling we will be out of the mickey mouse euro comp this week.we are completely toothless and i'm severly worried

I heard the game on Radio 5live cos I was working. Commentators said that each Liverpool player played like they weren't interested. Gerrard was anonymous, Carra was too slow, Lucas - as usual, Torres still unfit. "Can't fault any of City's XI, you could find fault with all of Liverpool's XI."
Mascherano - is he going or not? Tom & Jerry, sorry George - sell up & bugger off!!! After the Arsenal display, I thought we'd moved up from rock bottom. The only way now is up, my friends.
