Just looked at the lad on youtube, and can't get me head around us paying £13m for him, i would much rather Hodgson went for a british player. Keep wondering how much it would cost to prise Carroll away from toon??
I know the lad has some baggage, but nothing that Roy wouldn't be able to sort out. He has a great attitude on the pitch, and at 21 years old is a tremendous prospect. Hit 19 goals in 42 apps last season, and i thought he played quite well on his lonesome last night....
Say we could get him for £8-10m, 30k week on wages 5yr deal i think would be a great addition to squad.
